B06 Micro Borer - The new competitor for piercing tools

B06 Micro Borer - The new competitor for piercing tools

Replace those inaccurate pneumatic piercing tools like Grundomat
The machine is capable of installing cables, conduits and pipes up to 200 mm in diameter. All tooling are included for back reaming up to 20m long in clay & sand. This machine is the perfect alternative to the weak moles in clay and mixed ground conditions where these impact tools will miss the target or pop up in the middle of the road.

Light Weight drill rig with real power
This unique machine gives contractors the versatility of a small light weight drill rig combined with real power. You can even use the hydraulic system of your mini excavator as the whole system.

Go where the other cannot
This unit is 1.75m in length and only 0.46m wide. This allows access to backyards throught normal household doors where the conventional rigs can't go.

Use it as a directional drill rig as well
The Micro Borer B06 can also be configured as a micro directional drill rig with its own directional drilling blades, transmitter housing and Digitrak SE locator. It can even be fitted with an air hammer to drill through solid rock.

Very popular in the cable laying & plumbing industry
The engineered simplicity and versatility make this rig an ideal tool for electricians involve in the NBN for example, telecommunication cable and fiber optic, plumbers and any other contractors associated with trenchless installation of small underground services.

Indian Society for Trenchless Technology(IndSTT) - A pioneer in Trenchless Foundation in India - Offering fasttrack courses for Microtunneling

IndSTT was found in 1995 in order to provide expert advice and feedback on relevant areas related to trenchless technology. The most popular trenchless technology is Microtunneling which is widely used in order to accomplish projects world wide. Microtunneling helps in laying pipe lines without digging trenches and thus enables to carry out projects in the middle of the city, under the buildings without disrupting the public traffic, which saves a lot of time and struggle.
IndSTT  has launched Microtunneling foundation courses  inorder to provide founding knowledge of essential topics required for Microtunneling technique. The program has an architecture for providing the candidates with Basic, Intermediate and Advanced courses.
The knowledge acquired through this program along with the relevant work experience will back the candidate with , a solid base on how to carry out and complete a whole project.

Why?
The trenchless technology due to its limited domain in the industry results in lack of expert professionals readily available world wide. This leads to delaying of projects until the expert workforce is avilable or leads in placing untrained personnel in the projects compromising the quality of the job.
At present the current strength of microtunneling professionals doesn't  commensurate with the ongoing and upcoming projects demands for trained professionals. This has led IndSTT to initiate  fast track Trenchless professional courses in various Trenchless Technology techniques titled Trenchless Foundation Program.

How ?

Videos

sewer line

Here are some great photos which show 5 common reasons of a typical deteriorating sewerage system.

These photos on the left show some typical problems of the old earthenware pipe and are classic cases for renewal by pipe bursting.

Reason 1 : "Hammer Taps"
Here a junction collapses and falls into the pipe, this will generate some major problems in the main line as well as the house connection.

Reason 2 : "Root Penetration"
This is a huge problem and there is much ongoing work required to keep the roots in check. Why not just get rid of the problem once and for all and replace the pipe with Poly using pipe bursting.

Reason 3 : "Collapsed Main"
Not an uncommon problem and can happen for many reasons. This sort of failure is a great cause of infiltration and ex-filtration causing pollution to surrounding waterways.

Reason 4 : "Cracking"
To avoid bigger leaks and before the main line collapse, replacing the pipe as soon as you detect cracks is always a good idea.

Reason 5 : "Offset Joints"
Due to ground settlement, landslide, tree roots and poor bedding during installation, the main line can suffer from this weakness and therefore generate massive leaks.

What are the choices you have to face these major problems ?
There are a few choices you can utilise to fix some of the above problems,
- Open Cut Method
- Relining
- Pipe Bursting
